04) Study of Ile Aiye's "old" way of playing.
05) Study of "Samba Duro", Hard Samba. (Urban "Samba de roda").
06) Study of the 6 classics ways of playing Samba-Reggae.
07) Modern Samba-Reggae, diverse forms.
INFORMAÇÃO
Musotto studied Samba-Reggae in depth in its original place Pelourinho-Salvador. From 1988-1995 he was the arranger and percussion director of Margareth Menezes as well as Daniela Mercury, the best Samba-Reggae singers in Bahia, Brazil. Musotto has played with a lot of Brazilian music stars such as Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso, João Bosco, Sérgio Mendes, Lenine, Martinho da Vila to mention just a few. He is the percussionist on Lenine's live CD-DVD, In Cité which recorded in Paris. He has also taught Samba-Reggae and Berimbau in the
"Escola de Percussão Maracatu Brasil" (www.MaracatuBrasil.com.br) in
Rio de Janeiro and has given special courses in UFBA (Universidade Federal da Bahia). Musotto has held samba reagge and other kinds of workshops, for instance in France, Japan, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland,
and Argentine.
